Copypasta – Allow Copy & Paste (“the extension”) does not collect, store, transmit or sell any user data.
- It has no servers and makes no network requests.
- It does not read page content, form data or the clipboard. It only stops a page’s own scripts from cancelling the browser’s built-in copy, cut, paste, selection and right-click actions on sites where you turned it on.
- The list of sites where it is enabled is stored by Chrome itself as extension permissions on your device; it never leaves your browser through the extension.
- It contains no analytics, telemetry, advertising or remote code.
Permissions used: activeTab and scripting (to inject the unblocking script into the tab you click on), and an optional host permission that is requested only for the specific site you enable — nothing is granted at install time.
